Ukrainian Eparchy bishop visits ACMRO with newly ordained deacon

On 24 November 2022, Bishop Mykola Bychok made a pastoral visit to ACMRO. During this visit, Bishop Bychok introduced newly ordained deacon Myroslav Vons, who together with his family recently came to Australia to continue his formation to the priesthood.

Advent appeal for Ukraine

In his appeal to the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, Bishop Bychok stressed Ukraine’s need of prayer for peace and help to “support refugees and people in Ukraine during this winter, which will be the most challenging for our country for decades of independence.” Australian bishops recently announced its request to the Australian community to support and donate to this cause, in which ACMRO took part.
